Habel visit

Mark and I have driven to Utah so many times in our eight years of marriage that I have lost count. So you can imagine how excited I was when I found airline tickets that were inexpensive enough to justify flying instead of driving. Ecstatic, thrilled, Oh my goodness I was so excited! BUT, my dreams were dashed when Mark got work in Texas that same week we were suppose to go and so to avoid an emotional, physical, mental breakdown I stayed home. Mom and dad Habel were only going to be in Utah for a few more week so they packed up a rental mini-van and made the 12 hour drive with Sarah Jane, Elizabeth, Anna Marie and 4 week old baby Jared (sticks). Belle & Ella ( Elizabeth) loved that Alyna and her friend Becca let them "fix" their hair. There was lots of yelping and screaming and laughing coming from this makeshift salon.
This was the first time Josie had met grandma and grandpa and boy did she soak up the love. Ella and Annie also enjoyed that sweet softness. Their new baby Jared doesn't have much chub to kiss on yet.
Caleb and grandpa had lots of fun making things, mostly swords and other weapons, but it was the sweetest thing to watch them rummage around and create together. These are lucky kids to have such wonderful grandparents and opportunities like these to make memories together. Tender moments like these are priceless.
Who wouldn't want to come visit with a reception like this. The kids always come a running when aunt Ginger arrives! They especially love to "drive" her new red mini.

Kisses. So sweet!
Okay, do you see that. That is the look of love. This grandma loves her babies, and JoJo loves grandma. I am so glad we had this time together. Honestly, it worked out perfectly. I wouldn't change a thing, Now I will start hunting again for cheep tickets to Utah, or I will just resign myself to the fact that for a family of seven it is just more realistic to drive.
Meet "Sticks", he is the skinniest little guy. LONG and skinny! Sarah was brave to embark on the 12 hour road trip, but it was so nice to have her here. I just love Mark's sisters, every one. They are remarkable, adorable, fun, real, hardworking wonderful women. 'till we meet again. Love you all!
