What a great afternoon at the beach. You know that one of my favorite books is Simple Abundance by Sarah Ban Breathnach and she has been suggesting to me for many years to read Gifts from the Sea by Anne Morrow Lindbergh, so finally I started!
I have a few chapters left but here are a few things I have learned so far;
"The beach is not the place to work."
"One never knows what chance treasures these easy unconscious rollers may toss up, on the smooth white sand of the conscious mind."
To dig for treasures shows not only impatience and greed, but a lack of faith. Patience, patience , patience, is what the sea teaches. Patience and faith."
I am learning, really I am.
