hooray!! Oh my goodness, who doesn't love fall? It is such a
vibrant time of year and I love every single thing about it. The kids and I spent an absolutely delightful day at the pumpkin patch with Megan and aunt Tami. I am so grateful that they have let us adopt them.

I just adore the
Cinderella pumpkins. We decided on one of these instead of a traditional pumpkin. As it turned out it became a
pecking post for the chickens. They did a fine job of carving it. Funny thing is they left the white pumpkins we got completely alone. Weird.

Belle was the
guardian of the loot, and the dispenser of the kettle corn.

What a
sweety! Calvin was very excited about the tractor ride. We never get off the tractor to look for pumpkins in the field we prefer to just kick back and enjoy the ride, and the kettle corn.

Attach of the baby!!!

Gobble, gobble. This guy is a real looker. Makes me hungry for Thanksgiving. Gag!

Alyna and Megan took the little guys
through the corn maze and the hay maze. Really they are out there, just a little shorter than the corn still.

One of my favorite things about this particular pumpkin patch is the pumpkin slingshot. I just get a kick out of watching the kids pick the pumpkin they think will go the farthest and then trying to figure out their launching technique.

High on the mountain top!

I don't think they'll get far.

looks like a WONDERFUL time! I keep telling myself, I must go to the big patch next year! And I love your idea to just sit on the tractor through the fields -- good thinkin'.
It is so pretty with all of those flowers!
