For the past few weeks this is where I have been...parked on the couch with a nasty virus, which after 10 days turned to pneumonia and earned me a night of rest and relaxation in the hospital. UGH! Isn't there some unwritten rule that mom' s aren't aloud to get sick.
Finally I am starting to feel like I am back in the land of the living but the kids last week of school and first week of summer was not picture perfect and for that I am having a little mother guilt. What's a girl to do!
We are making up for lost time and filling our days with lots of summer fun. Since I will have plenty of blogging time as we travel to NE, (24 hours each way) I am putting "catch up on the blog" on the back burner. In the meantime we are busy doing laundry, packing, prepping, organizing, cleaning out the car, cleaning the house, weeding the yard, watering in hopes that it all doesn't die, taking advantage of free swim lessons, shipping dad's day cards a little late, shopping for last minute details, picking berries, playing, stocking up on books on CD at the library and just gearing up for a good long road trip. It feels so good to be getting my energy back and feeling able to get er done!
I am so grateful for a return of good health, my sweet family and good friends that took care of me and the open road with family I love on the other end. It is going to be fun!
