I feel like I am always trying to figure Sunday out. How best to keep the sabbath day. So I thought maybe doing a craft on Sunday afternoon would be a good way to spend time with the kids. I am still searching because crafts with the kids are really not restful for me..so for now we will go back to lounging, lots of lounging.
Monday:
We played at the pool!
Tuesday:
We played at the pool! Ginger joined us at the pool, and after we got home and put Josie to bed, Ginger and I spent the afternoon laying out in the sun and catching up. So nice! Mom and Dad Habel arrived that evening.
Wednesday:
Grandpa & Ginger took Caleb, Calvin and Belle to see Ice Age dawn of the Dinosaurs in 3D. They loved it! Alyna, mom and I stayed home with Josie and the little girl Alyna was babysitting and did a little beading. It was nice and quiet, my favorite.
Sm ores on the deck after dinner was the highlight today. Seems like we did something else but it's late and I can't remember.

I know that school isn't starting for a month yet, but Walmart is having their back to school blowout and so we spent the morning shopping f or school supplies at Walmart. WOO HOO we are ready! Back to school is an expensive time... I've got to space it out.
We spent the evening at the Rice Patch for a tri*ward camp out and potluck. It was lots of fun! The food was delicious and abundant, the kids played in the creek, and played touch football, and there was a nice program. Dancing in the field was later in the evening, but we wimped out and headed for home, just in time to greet Grandma and Grandpa Bell when they arrived at 10:00.
Saturday:
We went with Brian and Sheila to dinner and to the temple. On the way home we stopped at Cold Stone. I had my first birthday cake remix, oh man, so good!
Sunday:
The day of rest. No crafts today, only resting and relaxing! Grandma and Grandpa Stayed for dinner and then they took Alyna with them to spend a few days at Christy's before we reconnect at the beach! I really can not believe how fun this summer has been and how fast it is going by. CRAZY!
(This paragraph was supposed to be at the beginning... Who knows!)
If Alyna had it her way our guest room would have been her room a long time ago. However, we hold on to it as a guest room because (were mean and ornery) it really is just so nice to have a place for company when they come, and it has been a busy week at the Habel Hotel. Here is a quick run down of our week. With all of the fun and late nights I am tuckered out, so I hope it makes sense. Really I should do this in the morning, but we are off and running first thing so...no time like the present!?
