Fill you bucket...

Sunday, 08.09.09) Hoffman / Edwards Eagle Court of Honor
* Mark got to say a few words about each of these guys...lucky for them he also brought a couple of pictures of each of them at the first mirror lake snow camp as deacons. As you can imagine, Josh turned beet red and Kolton just laughed.

Monday, 08.10.09) Couponing 101
*Rochelle & Aundrea clued me into their couponing strategies, which I tested out today. Thanks girls, I saved at least $50.00!

Tuesday, 08.11.09) Heather's Endowment, Lunch at Olive Garden, shopping at the bookstore, a special dinner party and a piano tuning.
* On my way home from the temple, Mark called and wondered what was taking so long...because our dinner guests were beginning to arrive. My uncle Paul and his two youngest kids Maddy and Isaac came for dinner, Ginger and her friend Erin came for dinner, Mark's cousin Danelle and her hubby Neal and their two kids, Josie & James also came to dinner, plus the seven of us, I think that made 16 total. Crazy how that worked out. Mark grilled the delicious fish our bishop gave us along with steaks Ginger brought. YUMMO! After dinner Paul tuned my piano, which hadn't been done since he did it 10, yes, ten years ago. Thank you uncle Paul!

Wednesday, 08.12.09) Mom's birthday ...augh, I can't believe I forgot! shopping for last minute details for the retreat. ( I think it took over my brain, really that is no excuse)

Thursday, 08.13.09) CLEAN HOUSE!!! Get my family ready for the Fort Stevens camp out.
* A special thank you to my sweet hubby who took the kiddos on a special daddy camp out so that I could have my second annual stay cation! Oh how I love stay cations! Thank you so much also to my kids, they were really quite helpful. Really helpful in fact, thanks you guys!

Friday, 08.14.09) Pre-retreat Retreat, Retreat.
* It was really weird to have the house to myself, not my favorite, but I did take advantage of the freedom and started my day with a trip to redeem my mothers day gift package at Zingti massage. When I went into my room there was a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates. Almost all of my favorites in one place! WOOHOO! After the massage I headed for a panini at Red Apple, not very glamorous but OH MY they are GOOD! I finished up my pre-retreat with a hair cut and pedicure. Heavenly! You know the coolest part was going home and everything was still were I left it. Now I could relax! The ladies began trickling in around 4:40 by 6:30 we were in full swing! Sister Jensen gave the evening devotional and definitely filled our buckets with JOY! I love the sisters in our ward.

Saturday, 08.15.09) Retreat ends, Planning for the ward party begins, kids arrive home and we clean up from all the fun.
* I was in need of the sabbath day. A day of rest... hostessing takes A LOT out of me.
