1. Mark's safety. If you haven't heard yesterday there was a car accident on HWY 30. Read more about it in the 11.04.09 Chronicle, anyhow... the whole thing unfolded right in front of my sweetheart. Oh the mercies and the miracles! Here is a photo Mark took with his phone, you can kind of see the truck on the left side. If he had been a few seconds earlier...well you see what I am saying.
2. Emotions. I have been feeling... well I couldn't really put my finger on how I have been feeling lately. But reading Teresa's blog tonight helped me find a word for how I have been feeling. Since Christy passed away a few weeks ago I have been feeling melancholy. (thoughtfully sad) I am still processing this loss and imagine I will be for a while. I miss her, I hope she knows how much I love her. I am strangely grateful for emotions.
3. Hershey Kiss melt aways. Perfection!

oh my, that was close! Glad he was safe. Scott encountered the traffic from that one, a bit later in the morning, though. Very scary.
It's amazing how something as simple as *timing* plays a huge part in deciding the course of our lives.
When you shared that story with me I was so thankful as well and realize how important those prayers of protection are! (Thanks for tonight by the way, I neede it more than you know!)
