1. Good Omens. Almost every time I go to type I am thankful 4... I accidentally type I am thankful $... I think it is a good omen. Don't you?
2. CALEB!!! Today my little bug turns 8. EIGHT!!! It was about this time of night eight years ago that I was hooked up to the monitors in the triage room at the hospital. I was in crazy pain, but they just kept stalling and going in slow motion, I swear. Mark was trying to comfort me and get the nurses to hurry up. I think he might have been afraid I was going to break his hand because I was holding it so tight. My water broke instead, it was literally sounded like a balloon popped. Oh my good golly miss molly after that the pain was CRAZY and I was being very vocal about where was my epidural because I was not even going to be able to handle 1 minute more of this! I think the nurses got the picture, good thing because I was about to push that baby out into the toilet. Natural instincts are something else! The very calm midwife came in a FINALLY checked out the situation and very calmly said well on the next contraction you can go ahead an push...What????the heck....WOOHOO, just a few more minutes and **TAHDAH* we would be holding this baby in our arms and that nasty pain would go away. I makes my gut hurt just talking about it. Sure enough 3 pushes later our Caleb Hugh arrived. Perfect, handsome, wonderful. Oh how I love you Caleb, Happy Birthday.
3. A husband who is willing to play with his kids. Mark loves nothing more than being with the kids.
4. Cameras, what magic to be able to capture moments of time.
