I love the Portland airport.

Hawaiian airlines was my favorite. Roomy, surprisingly good food and the stewardesses had fresh flowers in their hair. It's the little details like that make me happy, call me crazy.

Flying over the ocean. Nothing but blue, blue and more blue. Sigh!

Seeing Maui from the air. I wanted to bounce up and down and clap my hands, okay so I did do that, but I was discreet.

The Kahului airport! Hello beautiful Hawaiian breezes. How much fun is an open air airport.

We left Kahului and headed west to Wailuku to check out the Ioa Valley. Seeing the locals out at the park playing and having birthday parties and BBQing was a definant favorite!

We left for dinner before the tiki torches were lit. So when we returned that evening it was MAGIC when they we all a glow. LOVE THE DETAILS.

sigh again...

...and yet again. Paradise? Absolutely.

Watching the catamarans come in for the evening, 2 whale playing, and the sun set, all from our table at the Hula Grill in Lahaina. It was an absolute picture perfect moment. We even had fruity drinks in hand. Hello!

Virgin Lava Flows. YUMMO! Strawberry daiquiri meets Pina colada. They are beautiful and delicious, not quite sure about nutritious.
