A few of my favorites... I mean a dozen...

of my favorites, of my new favorite beach that we discovered last summer, Hug point.

Trick is, you've got to ((HUG)) at hug point. It makes it more magical!

See what I mean about rugged and raw. The more I think of it, most of the Hawaiian coast was equally wild, just different. Maybe it was the perfect 80 degree weather that made it seem so much more docile? Either way, I still think perfection would be winter in Hawaii, Spring through fall in Oregon.

When we went down to Hug point last weekend the wind was blowing like CRAZY! A man stopped to warn us that if we were planning to go down to the beach we should probably tie our children to us and expect to be sand blasted. We didn't go down to the beach, but we did have a group hug.

ooo, looks like a cool beach. I may have to try to find it this summer. I'm not as familiar with the Oregon Coast as I would like to be. I love being near the ocean too. My husband doesn't really, so I have to make these kinds of trips happen myself! :)

I'm with Shannon. I know three beaches. Period. And my husband hates (HATES) sand, so we don't go as often as I would like. But that place looks gorgeous. I love the caves!
