Rainbows are a gift!

I love rainbows! I love everything about them!! To me they are physical manifestations that God is good. I have always thought of them as a smile from heaven. The first night we were in Maui as we walked through the courtyard of our hotel and a beautiful rainbow appeared over the crest of the hills. A smile. Then a few days later on our way back to the hotel from Hana on the south west side of the island this rainbow. Talk about breathtaking! It seriously took my breath away. It was a magical moment. Mark spotted it first in his rear view mirror. He slowed way down, I stood on the seat of the Jeep and popped out the sun roof for a photo. A smile for sure.

Just a few weeks ago I had to give a talk at the adult session of stake conference and just as we were almost to the chapel a brilliant, close rainbow appeared. I think it was a smile of encouragement.

So see rainbows are a gift, they are a gift of love and encouragement and just plain happiness from a Father in Heaven who loves us all very much.

Happy Saint Patty's day! I hope to see a rainbow today... sure would be cool if there were a pot of gold at the end of it. Have you ever stood at the end of a rainbow? I don't think I have...
