In fact the kids thought that it was Christmas when they woke up Saturday morning and there were presents under the tree and SNOW on the ground. They came running into our room asking "is it Christmas?" We just chuckled and assured them that it was not Christmas yet.
We spent the morning building snow man Sam the first snowman we have built as a family. It was a lot of fun. After we were sufficiently frozen we came in for hot chocolate. Yummy! It was a perfect snow day.

I loved watching it snow all day! I don't know that we could've pulled off a snowman it was very dusty snow.

great snowman! And are those chicken footprints in the snow?! Crazy! I love the picture of Josie parked in the dry spot of grass . . . her little territory. I'm glad you posted some pictures -- I was wondering what it looked like up at your place.
