FYI: There are 27 McDonalds between here and there! At least that we saw from the high way.
This is were we got stuck in an ice storm for 6 hours (9:00pm until 3:00 am) a couple of trips ago! I definately prefer summer road trip, definately!
I love the dessert, not as much as the forest, however the smell of sage brush calls me home! Oh my goodness if you have been in the dessert after a thunderstorm you know what I am talking about.
For anyone heading out on a long road trip I would recommend bringing along some ticy tac. It is PERFECT! Caleb especially made some cool dinosaurs, but it would keep them all busy for...long enough.

I was able to maintain this cheerful expression the whole 51 hours... :0)! Yeah.

Mark was able to block out alot, but not all of the choas with these little ear buds. He is SO awesome! I just love him for making family a priority.

okay, I still don't get what ticy tac is -- I've never seen it in stores before. Where do you get it?
I love windmills too -- near my home there were tons of them in the foothills as you headed to the beach or bay area.
Cheerful for 51 hours? Go you!
