Back to School

I know I am biased, but Alyna I think you are beautiful! I hope you are happy with yourself and that your are weathering the storms of adolescence with ease, you appear to be, but I just hope all is well... I hope you will have lots of fun this year and that you will learn a lot. Not just from your classes, but from life in general. I want you to know that I love you, that I think of you, that you are in my prayers and that I miss you when you are gone. I just can't believe you are in the 8th grade!Caleb are so...delightful! As you head off to 2nd grade I want you to know that I love you. I love your imagination, your spunk, your tender heart and that all these things about you make me smile! I hope you will develop a love for literature and the places it can take you, that you will find confidence in who you are, and that you will find lasting friendships. It makes me happy to hear you walk through the door in the afternoon. You are a such a handsome young man.

Oh Calvin, the girls and I are still adjusting to having you gone all day. You are missed. I hope you are enjoying 1st grade. I hope you are helpful to your teacher and to your friends. I love you and I love how friendly you are to the other children. I hope you will soak up the knowledge that you are introduced to. And that you will play hard when it is time to play.
