Napili / Kapalua / Nakalele
Good morning! Truly the Hawaiian sunsets are beautiful, but this morning was pristine. I woke up early, just as the sky was starting to lighten and went out on our balcony. It was warm. There was a gentle breeze. Softly and slowly the island filled with light. Beautiful.
Highlights of the day: The sunrise, a quiet morning walk along the beach, the jeep, searching for the two tiered tide pools, hiking to the Nakalele blowhole, lunch at Mama's, 80 degrees, lounging and reading by the pool, the rainbow, dinner at Thai Chef, cruising Lahaina and movies back at the room. I do believe I am in heaven.
Note to self: Next time stop by Mama's, get a lunch plate to go and have a picnic at the Olivine pools. Then grab some banana bread at Julia's before heading back to lounge by the pool. Oh and skip Thai Chef, go somewhere with a view instead.

were you writing on Oh Life during your stay in Maui? That is such a great idea - to record all the details while they are fresh in your mind. I'm glad you found the blowhole. And I'm glad you found your way back to the jeep! :)
(Thanks for the review on Mama's -- I was curious about that place. Will need to add it to the list!)
