Part of our summer 2011 plan is to go somewhere fun, fantastic, free, fancy or far away on Friday. Our first Friday after school got out, we spent the day at Washington Park & the Rose garden. Portland is the city of Roses. It was a fabulous first Friday. The sun was shining, the temperature was a splendid 70 degrees and the roses were in full bloom. As you can imagine the garden was beautiful and very fragrant. Welcome Summer we are so glad you have finally arrived!
