These pictures were a delight to find, especially considering that Christy passed away several years ago. Funny how quickly time passes and yet so slow. How I miss my aunt Christy. I miss her laugh, her notes, her smell, her letters, her home, her smile, oh someday I will see her again...true, but I still miss her so much now!
I originally titled this post "I believe" and as I considered these photographs I was not sure why...until a little thought settled in my head. For the closing song at Christy's funeral we sang "I believe in Christ" one of Christy's favorite hymns I pressume. I recall the sweet peaceful feeling I felt as we sang that song... I felt like it was her wish that all of those gathered together to celebrate her life know that she did believe in Christ, further more she believed Christ. Truly. She believed in His redeeming power, in His infinite love and complete compassion. I believe as well. That is what makes missing her turn to an excitement to see her again someday. So i'll leave the title alone in honor of my dear aunt Christy who played a significant part in teaching me to believe.

Oh, your sweet babies! :) And what a treasure to find these photos! I think that is a great idea -- to choose songs for your funeral that share your testimony. What a wonderful reminder of your aunt.
