Christmas EVE
10:00 * Traditional bowling with friends, Burgerville for lunch & Josie's birthday Party.
3:00 * Ginger and Kristen arrived safe and sound in the blizzard like conditions.
3:30 * The power went out!
4:00 * No worries, little smokies and Ham cooked on the wood stove just fine.
4:30 * Alyna & Kristen retrieved paper products, batteries, flashlights & more wood for the fire from the trailer.
5:00 * Ham, rolls, BBQ little smokies, pineapple, veggies and ranch, spray cheese and crackers, shrimp cocktail, chocolate milk, eggnog, sparkling cider and a variety of goodies were ready consumption! YUMMMM!!
5:05 * The power came back on. :0( I was all ready for a Little House on the Prairie kind of Christmas.
6:00 * After we watched Joy to the World and set out Oreos and Chocolate milk for Santa, (plus one carrot for each reindeer) the kids and I played Christmas Bingo.
7:30 * Mark read 'Twas the Night Before Christmas and we "nestled the children all snug in the beds".
8:00 * Ginger, Kristen & I played a game of Domino's and then off to bed so that Santa could come. ;0)
Christmas MORNING
6:30 * All four big kids crawled into bed with us. We waited a few minutes then it got too crowded so we sent them in to wake up Ginger and Kristen. Hee hee!
7:00 * Gathered at the top of the stairs (my very most favorite part).
7:01 * WOO HOO Santa came!!! For Alyna, Caleb and Calvin he brought a Wii (Naughty Santa, we told him no video games) For Belle a princess bike, for Josie a baby doll with a stroller/walker. With arms outstretched and a smile that went from ear to ear Caleb declared it "the best Christmas ever!!!" I believe all would agree.
8:00 * Ginger's famous Christmas Breakfast; Waffles, Hash browns, Bacon, Sausage...the works!
8:30 * Played with Santa toys. (I love how that guy leaves everything unwrapped and ready to go. He must have been at our house until 1:00 or so. I'll bet he had to wear a headlamp with the power threatening to go out every couple of hours. In fact we lost power about 1:30 and it didn't some back on until 5:00. I just don't know how he did it.)
10:00 * Opened presents under the tree.
11:00 * Relaxed, slept, ate leftovers, played Wii and more Wii. Built a gingerbread house and a train. Watched movies, called family and played in the snow.
Needless to say we had a very Merry Christmas. We hope yours was wonderful as well.

love the picture (my kids are such goofs) - PLEASE e-mail me a copy! :)
Sounds like Santa was very good to your family. We also had to leave out one carrot for every reindeer. They work hard!
