Sometimes laughing isn't as easy as it sounds.

Today I really didn't feel like laughing when I dropped my almost brand new griddle and a leg broke off. RUINED! ****
Again, not laughing when I was interrupted every minute or so having to get Josie away from the stairs. I WILL INVEST IN GATES ASAP!!! I was missing my three big helpers, now I have to chase Josie around all by myself. WEARS ME OUT, QUICK!
Laughing was the last thing I wanted to do at the doctor today for 2 and a half hours with 2 busy kids. (thank goodness for Aundrea, it could have been four kids at the Doctor's office).
Ayah, definitely not laughing when my poor little Caleb had to get his ear flushed in order to get a pee size chunk of black wax out of his ear and a shot and a full exam. Poor boy, modesty really does matter to a 7 year old.
I am just here to tell you that learning to laugh, maybe just smile, or for me just not freaking out is gonna be a tough one this year. However I really only have one resolution and by golly I am gonna keep on trying. Heaven knows I will get plenty of opportunity to practice.
Yippee for back to school, a 30 minute walk, pizza for dinner, and a dear husband who loves me even when I bite his head off. Sorry Babe!

I am feeling that today! We can't seem to get everyone in our house healthy and I am tired of the doctors office. BLAH--I mean Ha Ha.

Yes, I agree it's hard to laugh in those situations. But at least you have the reminder to laugh embedded in your mind, once those stresses leave.
