*TEST*TEST*...Just making sure this thing is on. It's been awhile!
Wow! A lot has happened between now and then. So, I posted awhile back (Thank you Shannon for the friendly spark!) that Alyna had run..ran for ASB Secretary and had lost, but that other doors had opened for her. She was invited by the new ASB officers to fill a position on the leadership committee. The assignment she has right now is to assist the homecoming court...order their flowers, help the guys get their tuxedos, help them with their presentations at the homecoming assembly...LOTS of fun behind the scenes action, which she loves! It has been so fun to brainstorm ideas with her and have a sneak peak into what is happening for homecoming. Friday afternoon she took the princesses and their escorts out to the football field to take these photos to be displayed in the halls during the week of voting for the homecoming queen. I thought it was a cool idea. It is so fun having a senior! I am loving it! So fun! I think that I've said that a lot. Oh well!

I'm glad Alyna got this opportunity -- how fun! I remember that one of my friends in high school got to do a lot of this fun stuff (pick out the crowns, sashes, flowers, etc. as well as plan the winter formal). Being the activities/party planner is fun! And she has a great mom to learn from! :)
